Kitchen Matters

Mrs Cook and Mrs Vailes hope your children are enjoying the summer menu. They use only the best ingredients to prepare your children’s meals. Full details of how carefully the food is selected and sourced are on the reverse of the summer menu.

The meat comes from Jon Thorner.

The fish is only from sustainable stocks and is provided by Charles Saunders (the frozen food comes from him too).

The fresh vegetables come from Cossy.

We are pleased to announce that yet again, our kitchen has been awarded the top level (5) rating for food hygiene.

After School Clubs

A letter will be going out next week with regards to after school clubs. Please ensure you pay the club leaders in advance at the beginning of each term. You can pay the leader direct or the School Office staff can pass the payments on for you. (Each club will need a separate payment). The clubs are independent of the school and it is the parents / carers responsibility to provide club leaders with any information which is relevant to their child, ie medical/allergies/contact details etc.

Headteacher’s Coffee Morning

Miss Bishop invites all parents and carers to come to school on Friday 24th June at 9:00am to have a coffee ready to meet with Miss Bishop at 9:30am. The topic to be dis-cussed is ‘Round-up of the year and what’s next for Pensford’.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am to 8.55am which is the start of the school day. The charges are £4.00 from 7.30am and £3.00 from 8.00am and include breakfast. If your child would like join in, please bring them along on the morning and sign them in. You will be billed monthly. Polite Note— any child in the school hall before 8.55am will be treated as attending Breakfast Club and will the parents will be charged accordingly.

School Planters and grounds

We are looking to brighten up the school by planting some flowers around the playground and in our flowerbeds. If anyone has any plants / flowers that they would like to donate, they would be gratefully received. The children will be involved in this project along side Miss Bishop.
