We are very pleased to announce that following the interviews held earlier this week, we have successfully selected our new Headteacher who will start with us in September. We will be delighted to give you further details in the new Term once the successful candidate has given notice at their current school and their parents have been informed.

To support the local fund raising appeal—‘Kisses for Kaylum’ the children are invited to come in to school on Thursday 24th March (last day of term) dressed in gold/yellow to show support for Kaylum who is a local boy fighting a rare form of cancer. The family are fund raising to send Kaylum to America for live saving treatment. If you would like to support, please bring in £1 for every child dressed in gold or yellow.

All parents and carers welcome—22nd March at Publow Church from 2.30pm to 3.15pm. Please collect your children from the Church. After School club will take place and children attending will be brought back to school by the teachers.

Year 6 SAT’S Homework

Year 6 revision work packs will be sent home next week . We would encourage all children to look at the work and the supporting materials and complete as much as possible, however this is up to the discretion of the individual and parent. There will be an opportunity to look at your child’s books and progress at the parents evening (please see below for details)

If you have received a text requesting payment for Breakfast Club, school meals or Whitemead Camp or anything else, can you please ensure that it is paid by the end of term, 24 March. This is due to the fact that we are approaching the end of financial year and all debts need to be settled.

Kingfisher Parents Evening

Parents evening / meet the new teacher for Kingfisher class will be Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st April. Time slots will be for 10 minutes form 3.30 until 6pm. The sign up sheets are available in the office.

Meet the Team!

There will be an opportunity for parents to meet all new members of staff including the new Head early in term 5 as soon as we confirm the date will send out a note to all parents. We look forward to seeing you there.
