After the Parent Council Meeting I would like to clarify the following: Key Stage 1 are provided with a piece of fruit free of charge as part of the government initiative. Key Stage 2 may ( if they wish to) bring a HEALTHY snack for break time.
At the beginning of each term, along with the homework grid, a list of all the spellings will be sent out. It will identify which spellings will be tested each week and will be uploaded to the class pages on the website.
The school expectation is Black trainers for PE, however if parents have made a reasonable effort to affordably purchase black trainers but have been unable to find, alternatives will be considered. Please remember that we have a policy for PE uniform , if you have any questions regarding our uniform policy please ask.
As per a previous email, Classroom doors will open at 08.45 am from Term 6 onwards. There will be no school supervision on the playground in the morning. Children coming into the school hall and joining in activities will be charged for the use of breakfast club.
After School Clubs
A letter has gone out to all families with information about the clubs running in term 6. We are pleased to say that we have a NEW TENNIS COACH and the club will run on Tuesdays from end of school to 4.30pm. The coach is coming to give a school assembly on 24th May and he will give out letters to all the children.
New Menu– Term 6
As of Term 6 we will be following a new BANES menu. A copy was sent today by email and we have copies here in the office.
