Office Matters

Dinner money - we realise the change in cost makes paying exact amounts a bit awkward so you may prefer to pay school meals in bulk in advance so that your account is in credit.

The current website is being revamped! The designers are coming in to update the web site and we hope to have lots of new photos on there which will make it easier for users to navigate. Starting on the first week of term 6 we will no longer be emailing the newsletter to parents and carers but instead the Newsletter will be accessed through the website. Any parents that will be unable to access the website to view the Newsletter, please con-tact Miss Bishop. We are however paying for a special service to make sure the website can be easily accessed on smart phones because the emailed version often could not be downloaded on smart phones. We see this as an improvement in our service to you and hope that this facility will be welcomed by all.

Celebration Assemblies

From the start of term 6 it has been decided to change the way we run these assemblies. During term 6 each class will hold a special celebration assembly to which parents and carers will be invited to share the recognition of the children’s achievements. Further information will be sent to you in due course.

After School Clubs

The new timetable of After School Activities offered by outside agencies will be sent out to you shortly. Clay Club is ending and in its place will be Mad Science. The tennis coaching may start again for term 6 and we are waiting for the coach to let us know.

SATS YEAR 6 breakfast

Next week year 6s only are invited to come to breakfast club free of charge to enjoy a free breakfast to ensure their minds ( and stomachs) are fully prepared to take their SATs paper. This free service will be available from Monday 9th May to Thursday 12th May. They will be able to choose from cereal and toast to a bacon or sausage sandwich with a range of fruit juices. Members of staff will be there to help and supervise from 08.15 am. We hope to see your son/daughter there.
